In short, yes. As good as any removalist is, accidents do happen. You insure your contents when they are in your home and are unlikely to be damaged, so why wouldn’t you insure them when you put them into a situation where damage is more likely?
Besides, furniture wasn’t designed to be transported around in trucks! A good insurance policy will usually cover any damages associated with moving. If you decide not to take out insurance, and some degree of damage does occur, you may be unable to make any claim for the damage your goods have sustained.
